Principal

My name is Mrs. Esquivez, and it’s truly an honor to serve as your Principal. I’ve had the privilege of being part of our wonderful district for the past 19 years, and as a proud New Jerusalem alumni, this place will always feel like home. It’s been amazing to watch our schools grow and thrive over the years.

Throughout my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in many roles—from classroom and EL instructional aide, to teacher at both the high school and elementary levels, to Assistant Principal, and now Principal at Delta Charter Elementary. Each experience has shaped who I am as an educator and leader.

What I love most about Delta Charter Elementary is the strong sense of community and teamwork that shines through in everything we do. Our students, families, and staff make this school truly special—it’s the “team” spirit that makes every day rewarding.

And just for fun—a little about me: my favorite color is pink! 🌸

Judy Kent-Fabris

Assistant Principal

It is an honor to serve the Delta Charter Elementary community and work alongside Mrs. Esquivez and Miss Lisa and Miss Marcia; I manage and assist anyone.

I’ve been in the education field for many years and enjoy every aspect.  I started teaching Science and moved on to every other subject, but my love is Science.  A great joy I have is watching “light bulbs,” lighting up over heads of students when they comprehend a concept in science or in Math.  It is its own reward.

I enjoy learning from our students.  They enrich my life and improve my skills. There is never the same day when dealing with our wonderful students.  I also learn from our fantastic educators.  They all come with different perspectives, drives, experiences, and strengths that embellish and improve our life here at Delta. They are a marvel.

Lisa Cosme

I’ve been with Delta Charter for over 10 years. I’ve truly found my home here in education. I take pride in keeping our office a warm and welcoming place, complete with fun, seasonal décor, good music, and great scents!

What I love most about my work is the people. Our staff, students, and families make Delta Charter such a special community. It’s been a joy to build relationships over the years and watch students grow from Kindergarten through 8th grade and move on to high school. Delta Charter has been a solid investment in my life, and it means a lot to me to be Ms. Lisa! 💙

Fun facts: I am a proud mom to one son in college and boy/girl twins in high school. 

Marcia Miller

Attendance Clerk

I’m proud to have been part of Delta Charter Elementary School for over seven years, where I serve as the Attendance Clerk. I absolutely love being a part of this amazing community, the students and staff make every day so rewarding! I believe that even a simple smile or hello can brighten someone’s day, and I strive to bring positivity and care to everything I do. Working here truly fills my heart, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to show up each day and give my best. It really is the best job ever!

Fun Fact: I’m a proud mom of four wonderful children and love spending time with them. I’m a sports mom through and through, and I enjoy going on fun day trips and making lasting memories with my family!
