Dear New Jerusalem Elementary School Students, Parents, and Staff,
Welcome to Delta Charter Elementary! At Delta Charter Elementary, we believe in fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our students embody the core principles of ROAR—Respect, Ownership, Accountability, and Responsibility. These values are woven into every aspect of our school culture, guiding students to take pride in their learning, demonstrate responsibility in their actions, and contribute positively to their peers and the greater school community.To ensure a well-rounded and effective educational experience, we integrate Dynamic Visual Learning (DVL), Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS), and Restorative Practices into our approach.
A successful school year starts with understanding expectations, routines, and available resources. Our Student Handbook outlines key policies and procedures that help guide students and parents through their academic journey. We encourage families to review this important document together to ensure clarity on school operations, behavior expectations, academic guidelines, and the many ways we support student growth and success.
We recognize that education is a partnership between schools, students, and families.
