We are proud and happy that you have chosen to be a part of our school community. We strive to ensure our students are Respectful, take Ownership, are Accountable, and Responsible (ROAR). Our handbook is designed to help our students and their families acquaint themselves with Delta Charter Elementary School's basic information and expectations.

Delta Charter Elementary was originally founded on the principles of Dynamic Visual Learning (DVL), and Integrated Visual Learning program developed by Dr. Steven J. Ingersoll, OD in Michigan. We continue to be dedicated to finding ways to engage students in learning through multiple modalities. Social Emotional Learning is another hallmark of our K-8 program with the principles of Positive Behavior Interventions Support (PBIS) as well as using Restorative Practices. 

Once again, on behalf of the staff at Delta Charter Elementary School, we want to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year and personally thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We are committed to providing the highest quality of education for all students. We are excited about the year ahead of us and are confident that together we can make sure every student has a successful school year. 

Please review with your student the information in the handbook carefully. It has been prepared to help answer many questions that students and parents often have about school procedures and policies. Support of these procedures and policies is an important part of your child's school success. These policies and procedures are designed to create a safe, respectful and positive learning environment in which each child can develop their full potential.
